Small multimeter for your day to day needs. If you have basic knowledge about multimeters you can try this small multimeter for basic continuity checks and voltage measurements. Functions: DCV, ACV, DCA. Resistor (ohms). Diode. Buzzer. Transistor (HFE). Temperature. Square wave output. Battery test. Display: 4.75 centimeter length, 15 millimeter high LCD. Operating Instructions: When testing DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, resistance, diode, buzzer and battery, connect the red test lead to "V 0 mA" jack and black test lead to "COM" jack. When testing the current more than 200mA, connect the red test lead to "' OADC" jack and black test lead to number 2022;COM" jack. When testing the temperature, connect the temperature probe to "V, 0, mA" jack or "COM" jack. It can also be connected to the jack specialized for it. Caution:

This is a very basic multimeter suitable for indoor and small applications. It is not recommended to use this for professional use.

- Disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors before testing resistance, continuity, diodes, or capacitance

- Use the proper terminals, function, and range for your measurements. When the rating is not known, always start from a higher range and turn the knob to lower ranges gradually to get accurate results

- Before measuring current, check the meter's fuses and turn power off to the circuit before connecting the meter to the circuit. For current measurement, use the multimeter in series with the circuit

- Before rotating the range switch to change functions, disconnect test leads from the circuit under test

- Before attempting to insert transistors for testing, always be sure that the test leads have been disconnected from any measurement circuits

- Remove test leads from the meter before opening the Meter case

DC Current Measurement

Caution: For current measurement, Multimeter should be connected in series with the circuit.

1. Connect the red test lead to the 10A max jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.

2. Set the range switch to the desired current A= range. If the current is not known beforehand, set the range switch at the highest range position and then reduce it range by range until satisfactory resolution is obtained.

3. Open the circuit in which the current is to be measured and connect the test leads in series with the circuit.

4. Read the current value on the LCD display along with the polarity of the red test lead.

DC Voltage Measurement

1. Connect the red test lead to the V?mA jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.

2. Set the range switch to the desired V= range. If the voltage is not known beforehand, set the range switch at the highest range position and then reduce it range by range until satisfactory resolution is obtained.

3. Connect the test leads across the device or circuit to be measured.

4. Read the voltage value on the LCD display along with the polarity of the red test lead.

AC Voltage Measure

1. Connect the red test lead to the V?mA jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.

2. Set the range switch to the desired V~ range. If the voltage is not known beforehand, set the range switch at the highest range position and then reduce it range by range until satisfactory resolution is obtained.

3. Connect test leads across the device or circuit to be measured and read the voltage value on the LCD display.

Resistance Measurement

1. Connect the red test lead to the V?mA jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.

2. Set the range switch to the desired ? range. If the resistance is not known beforehand, set the range switch at the highest range position and then reduce it range by range until satisfactory resolution is obtained.

3. If the resistor to be measured is connected to a circuit, disconnect circuit power and discharge all capacitors before measuring resistance.

4. Connect the test leads across the resistor to be measured and read the resistance value on the LCD display.

Diode & Continuity Measurement

1. Connect the red test lead to the V?mA jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.

2. Set the range switch to the Continuity range. (Symbol like Diode/Arrow).

3. Connect the red test lead to the anode of the diode to be tested and the black test lead to the cathode of the diode.

4. The approximate forward voltage drop of the diode will be displayed in mV. If the connection is reversed, only figure "1" will be shown on the LCD.

5. Connect the test leads to the two terminal of the circuit to be tested. If the resistance is lower than about 50 ?, the built-in buzzer will sound.
